:star: Features!! :star: The 7th news feature for the :iconweloveoilpastel: group for art submitted to the group

Please have a look and give and do :+fav: your favourites (you can also :+fav: the article if you like it!)

So how can you get featured next time?  Submit your best art to the group, or send me a note if you have seen something exceptional which you feel should be included. In the time until the next article (the length of time depends on how many exceptional submissions we get) the group admins will select their favourites and copy them into the "Oil Pastel Journal Features" folder. Then the new art in this folder will be included in the next feature.

Question, how well does oil pastel do with a scanner?

I've not tried it, but I would be a bit concerned about it sticking to the glass... I guess you can try it (carefully!).

I always use a digital camera to photograph mine - it seems to allow more control - if you use good natural light and then crop it later in a photo editing program.

I scan mine, but only after fixative. I don't think it would stick to the glass unless really warm or you smoosh it down hard. But I'm not too interested in cleaning my scanner glass, so don't want to try. Workable fixative is fine though
